Arvind Mills is one of India's leading cotton textile manufacturers. Its headquarters is in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It manufactures a range of cotton shirting, denim, knits and bottomweights (Khakis) fabrics and yarn. Arvind products include cotton yarn, dyed violes and cotton fabrics.
Arvind Mills History:
Arvind Limited was started on the year 1930 by three brothers – Kasturbhai Lalbhai, Narottambhai Lalbhai and Chimanbhai Lalbhai. These 3 brothers united to start a mill to produce superfine fabric and got the best technology from England to produce the highest quality fabric. This mill was named as Arvind Limited.
Arvind Limited was first started with a capital of Rs. 2,525,000 in 1931. In 1931 itself it had 52,560 ring spindles, 2552 doubling spindles and 1122 looms for spinning, weaving, dyeing, bleaching, finishing and mercerizing among other countable companies. Steadily, gradually now Arvind took the topmost place in the textile industry in India. In 1991, Arvind was the third largest producer of Denim in the whole world and as a maker of readymades in the domestic market.

Arvind own brands are Flying Machine, Newport, Ruf and Tuf, Mainstream and Excalibur. Arvind licensed international brands are Arrow, Lee, Wrangler, USPA, Bridge to Luxury, Cherokee, Mossimo, Grant U.S.A, US Polo, Energie, Sansabelt, Izod and Tommy Hilfiger. Arvind plans to launch a couple more brands especially targeting youth and women and also extend established brands to related segments. Arvind brings two collections every year, the Spring – Summer collection and the Autumn – Winter collection.
